Join us for MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL's SOUNDCHECK SERIES!   JAZZ HOUSE MONTCLAIR hosts a new monthly jazz gig featuring a performance of some of our favorite regional artists followed by a two-hour jam session where all musicians are welcome. Bring your instruments and come check it out!

7:00 PM | Opening student band

7:30 pm | Featured band: JAZZ HOUSE All-Stars; Followed by a open jam session until 10:30 PM. Bring your instrument!

ABOUT JAZZ HOUSE ALL-STARS

This elite group of alumni (and one current student!) will be performing throughout the fall in a leadup to their appearance on the 2024 Jazz Cruise. This is the second year of JAZZ HOUSE’s partnership with Jazz Cruises, a company that produces 4 different music cruises - the Jazz Cruise, Botti at Sea, the Smooth Jazz Cruise, and the Michael McDonald and Patti Labelle Cruise. Under the leadership of Michael and Paula Lazaroff, Jazz Cruises has been providing the gold standard to music lovers around the world for over 20 years.

LOCATION 

JAZZ HOUSE Annex, 2nd floor of JAZZ HOUSE KiDS | Main entrance is through the rear parking lot on North Willow near Bloomfield Avenue. Doors open at 6:30 pm with open act at 7:00, main act at 7:30 pm, followed by open jam until 10:30 pm.
